THE FIRST 'TONAL VISIONS' IMAGES SHOWN AT THE UNITED NATIONS

Many people have asked to see the U.N. presentation given by Rolland Smith at the 60th NGO conference on climatic change.

I was inspired to see the many delegates (1726 from 62 different countries) get their cameras out and start photographing the giant screen as the images were shown.

The closing moments of reflection of the conference with Rolland Smith's poetry and Claude Charlebois's photographs

It was a fine example of how poetry and imagery can move people.

A NEW PHASE BEGINS FOR 'TONAL VISIONS'

Phase one of the project involving the production of over 30 photographs has been completed. Post-production continues of the many photo shoots and the remaining images will only be released upon launching the event. This does not mean that the photographic work is considered completed but will be ongoing even when the exhibit launches. I wish to thank the Kenneth G. Mills foundation for funding phase one. The project will now look into enlarging the photographs to museum size, structuring the poetry/photographic presentations and acquiring the selected art installations. Research on venues has started along with further fund raising efforts.

Here is a pictorial report of one of the photographic adventures to the many natural wonders graciously supplied by Steve Mack.

Enjoy !
