THE GOLDEN STONE

Wind caressing my stillness
A vision questing timelessness

Wrapped in the folds of Presence
Delighting in currents of Essence

Pointing the direction to eternity
The transcendent stone of immortality

Moving beyond defined form
Defying perception of the norm

The mind can only see
Forms yielded in clay
The heart can only feel
Roads leading to Divine way

Transformed, transfigured and whole
My substance turning into gold

Gifted to grow beyond flesh and bone
Blessed to find the philosopher’s stone
